About

Grew up in fostercare. Ran the streets thinking I was some type of gangster. Did over a decade in prison just to have come home to become an embarrassing alcoholic who still thought he was a gangster but in all reality, as Mordy cursed me out one day and called me , I just was "...a drunk washed up rapper.."

I been knocked out more than twice since, locked up for DVs arguing and tussling with my so called girlfriends then, almost caught an S/A in the 4th degree bid , called the cops on chicks , been homeless, destroyed friendships - relationships - careers -opportunities. And had lost the respect from a lot of my elders and peers and family. I soiled my name and all that I stood for or against, with the most bitter of liquids that one could smell me coming.

Through it all, my closest people loved me from a distance, never left me , just let me go to let me grow. And I love them dearly for that. WopO, OG ShakeO must be 🫡 🫡 🫡

This is the growth of Roosevelt McGill

To every person I've ever harmed from the first days of my being that little 11 year old so called gangster to the last day of my being a drunk bum ass bozo, I deeply apologize and humbly beg forgiveness for my transgressions and behavior.

Sincerely, Roosevelt McGill

CONTINUING THE WORK
The other day TuneCore finally officially released a song I did some years ago called "I Hear U Now". I was happy and surprised because they had been holding it up for more than a little minute now, so I had completely forgotten all about it. Y'all know I'm slow. Smh lol But I always liked that track produced by my BigBro, Mordy for DarkWorldMusic productions. I was talking my shit on it. A crew that I had met through mutual family and I had a fallen out so we decided to take shots at each...

MORGAN'S RUN IS RUNNING THINGS
This was a dope set. 🫡 🫡 🫡 to Mandy Couver. Her voice was captivating throughout the night. She definitely put her stamp on that stage. Made me a fan. I felt like I wanted to interview her , but kinda thought it'd be probably best another time. Some hopefully that happens in the near future fingers 🤞🤞🤞 Doug Beveridge had me looking for him ,like "who is bleeding that guitar like that?" I looked around as quick as I could but just let my ear guide me and I found him going crazy in the...

DAVE LOCKETT TAKES OVER THE SLOVAK CLUB
The other night at the Slovak Club , I was able to make my way on stage to catch this human drum machine up close and live. The smoke and light machines seemed to burst and flare in rhythm with Mr. Dave Lockett's ,and had created a dance of its own making it an unforgettable visual and feel. I'm more than happy to have been able to capture it. And definitely couldn't wait to share it with you guys. 🤪🫡💯💪 Until next time 🫡 🫡 🫡
